Hold the Fort on the darned covid thingee! I am sooo getting out and about I have to hit the best two shopping buildings on military/federal land. If you need Hannukah or Christmas gifts at really great prices you FIRST must check out the thrift shop before it closes on the 18th of Dec., I think. Or you will regret it.

Such friendly staff! They make your thrift shopping enjoyable. I love coming in and being greeted with smiles, and they are always asking if I need help with anything, or if I found what I was looking for. Such wonderful people.

Great selection, but a little messy. The store has daily and monthly specials! I've found some amazing things here but had to dig around for them. Visit often because the selection is always new!

This is our favorite thrift shop to shop and donate too. All goes back to military families, the workers are always super helpful and nice. They have a great selection of items and always reasonably priced. Everything from household items to clothes. A big room of books and even a holiday/seasonal room. Make sure you go to every room and often, as you don't want to miss something! Also consider donating here instead of Goodwill/Value Village, way better investment!

There's always something wonderful to find here. You can occ discover tech items @ the front near cash registers. While going any day they're open is great, going when they have their great sales is even better. They can be discovered easily on their FB page. Part of why so many great items are here is because of the ongoing deployments, PCS changes. People tend to get rid of amazing items. Staff/Volunteers have always been amazing & helpful. Worth the visit!!

I really enjoy coming here due to the daily sales and kind staff. They do different types of sales such as 50% off clothes or something similar. The staff are always kind and welcoming when I visit. They have a bathroom on site, which is helpful especially when bringing little ones. The only negative is that it gets a bit crowded on certain days/times.

It's nice to have a thrift shop on any base anymore these days because so many have eliminated them.

Fort Lewis Thrift Shop is incredibly well-organized, clean, and welcoming. They have some amazing volunteers as well. The store is always well-maintained, and even the restrooms are spotless, they even have a baby changing table and plenty of space for strollers, which is such a plus! Every time I visit, I’ve experienced amazing customer service. I can always find great items for both myself and my kids, from toys and everyday clothes to high-end brands like Lululemon and Patagonia. I definitely recommend going early if you can, since the best items go quickly. They also restock throughout the day, which makes every visit feel like a new treasure hunt. Saturday sales are especially great! You can really tell how hard the team works to keep everything running smoothly. As a nonprofit, they give back to the community, which makes supporting them even more meaningful. Be sure to follow their Facebook page to stay updated on sales and specials. Since the new manager stepped in a couple of years ago, I’ve noticed a huge improvement overall.
